Personal legal services for individuals and families across Scotland — Wills, Powers of Attorney, Executry and Guardianship, delivered with care and discretion.
Our private client team provides sensitive, expert legal advice to individuals and families at some of life's most important moments — from planning your estate and protecting your assets, to administering the estate of a loved one.
We take the time to understand your personal circumstances, providing clear advice and ensuring everything is handled correctly, efficiently and with the care it deserves.
Home, hospital and care home visits are available for all private client matters at no additional cost for a single visit.
We cover all aspects of private client law. Each matter is handled personally by one of our solicitors — not passed between departments.
A Will is one of the most important legal documents you will ever sign. Without one, your estate may not be distributed as you wish. We draft clear, legally robust Wills tailored to your individual circumstances — including Sharia Law compliant Wills.
A Power of Attorney allows someone you trust to manage your financial and welfare affairs if you become unable to do so yourself. Putting one in place while you have capacity is one of the most valuable steps you can take for your future.
Dealing with the estate of a deceased person can be overwhelming at an already difficult time. Our solicitors handle the entire process on your behalf — from obtaining Confirmation through to distributing the estate — with sensitivity and expertise.
Where a person has lost capacity and does not have a Power of Attorney in place, a Guardianship Order or Intervention Order may be required. We assist families through this process, including access to Scottish Legal Aid funding where available.
Our Wills and Powers of Attorney are charged on a fixed fee basis. Executry and Guardianship matters are charged on a time and line basis. All fees are inclusive of our meeting with you, drafting, revising and execution.
